Photo # 9: End of an Era
Even though I had absolutely no sleep from the night before, I had to watch the very last Harry Potter movie. Bittersweet is the perfect description for this event. Yes, this isn’t just any ordinary movie, this is a milestone in our lives. For some of us, it marks the end our childhood. We laughed, cried, triumphed and grew up with Harry, Ron and Hermione. I remember back in the seventh grade when Harry Potter was one of the books we had to read in class. We were sorted into houses and tried to earn as many points as we could for our respective houses. We even went as far as playing Quidditch using the broomsticks at school. Our version of Butterbeer was Rootbeer & Vanilla Ice Cream aka rootbeer float!
I’m not a die-hard Harry Potter fan but I’m thankful for the magical world that JK Rowling introduced to us. Hogwarts will always be another home for us. <3
