I definitely was in wonderland! Amazing company. Amazing music. Amazing lights. There’s so much to say but I’ll leave it at this: You Only Live Once. Make the most out of it. Don’t waste it. It doesn’t mean that you have to party and go crazy every day. It just means that you have to take every opportunity given to you. Be willing to take that risk and make mistakes.
I know I’ve made mistakes and I’m learning. 2011 has been an interesting year. This year is about growing up more and trying to experience the world in the different perspective.
Hello, 2012. I’m ready for you. And whether the world will end this year or not, I intend to live it up. Responsibly, of course! ;)

When I saw these two pictures, I smiled and thought of TROPA.
We’ve all been through the chaos, craziness and triumph of PCN, friendship games and all that fun stuff. We know how stressful it is to organize and plan an event. We know what OARF means. STILL REMEMBER?
We have to thank TROPA because if it weren’t for it, our paths wouldn’t have crossed and that part of our college lives wouldn’t be as memorable and amazing. I’ve met some of the best people because of TROPA. Although I don’t get to see them as often as I could, it’s always a great time when we get together! The girls in the picture are some of those amazing people. Mind you, there’s a lot more!

Everything here is so freakin’ delicious. TRY THIS PLACE WHEN YOU CAN. The margaritas are soooo good. and OHMYGOSH, the DEEP FRIED ICE CREAM. Hands down, theee best deep fried ice cream I’ve tried so far.
What makes the meal even better are the people you’re with. I went with my cousins, Shakira and Sarina. (WE MISSED YOU TASH!!) I haven’t had dinner/drinks/anything with these two in a really long time and it was good to catch up and plan more dinners and whatnots. and you know what’s amazing? It doesn’t matter how long it’s been since we’ve seen each other- we just start where we left off!
I can’t wait for next year and all the trips that will hopefully happen! Vegas & NYC!!!

Last night was another successful Busby’s adventure. Even if it was just the two of us, we had a really good time. I also never heard one name mentioned so many times in one night! That’s a record right there. I love this crazy girl to death!!!
Whether it’s playing Call of Duty til 3am, staying in bed and talking or a night out, it’s always something for the books. We somehow manage to have the most fun despite the ordinariness of the situation. Shopping at F21 turns into chaos & non stop laughter when we’re together.
I know I’d want her to stick around forever! :)

Today I realized how dependent I am on electricity. The internet, to be more specific. Because of the really strong winds, our city didn’t have power for about 28 hours or so. I didn’t know how dark it could get until I saw that picture above. It was obviously darker without my car lights. SCARRRRRRYYYY.
Random conversations in the dark (around 1am-ish):
Diane: ROSHHH WHAT DO WE NOW? WHAT DID PEOPLE DO WITHOUT ELECTRICITY?
Rosh: SLEEP!! It’s time to sleep.
Diane: No, but what else?
Rosh: Well, we can read. Oh wait, NO LIGHTS.
Diane: YUHHH SEEE, THERE’S NOTHING TO DO.
Rosh: Board games? Mad gab? Pictionary? Oh wait, you still need lights.
A little while after..
Diane: How did people decide to invent candles?
Not even gonna try to answer the question. LOL.
Oh, Diane, Mark & I went to my car to charge our phones. The power went back on while we were doing so! Mark’s face said it all. He couldn’t have been happier!
SO, lesson learned: Appreciate what you have when you have it. Don’t take things for granted.
Let’s pray for all those affected by those crazy winds!!
